Warranty

The HTech Bikes Pty Ltd (referred to as HTech Bikes or HTech) guarantees against defects in materials and workmanship, as stated below:

​HTech bike frames are manufactured and warrantied by HTech Bikes.​

HTech Bikes guarantees that any new HTech bicycle frame and HTech components, excluding the finish, shall be free of defective materials and/or workmanship for the time period set out below to the original owner.

These time periods are final, unless otherwise approved by HTech Bikes, and put in writing to the original owner.
5 years on workmanship for any standard model frames without any customisation
3 years on workmanship for any custom designed and built frames
5 years for HRP manufactured part used in construction of the bicycle frame
​5 years for all other materials used in construction of a bicycle frame eg. machined timber, adhesive, excluding finish
2 years on any HTech branded components

This warranty does not cover, and is not limited to:
Normal wear and tear
Improper assembly
Improper care
Improper follow-up maintenance
Installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or not compatible with the bicycle frame
Damage or failure to the frame due to an accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect
Damage that is increased or exacerbated due to use or neglect
Labour charges for part replacement or changeover
Freight charges incurred for any warranty claim

​HTech Bikes must be notified as soon as possible of a warranty claim and or damage, do not continue using the frame, use of the frame will be considered negligence and void this warranty. If in doubt any damage may have been done, please contact HTech Bikes immediately.​​

This warranty is void in its entirety by any modification of the frame. HTech Bikes are allowed at our discretion to decide whether a replacement, repair or refund will be applied to any warranty claim. This warranty extends from the final date of manufacture, and is offered only to the original owner and is not transferable. This warranty applies only to HTech Bikes and HTech branded components, purchased directly from HTech Bikes or an authorised dealer. HTech Bikes is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages incurred. Any claim against this warranty must be made to HTech Bikes or an authorised dealer directly. Proof of purchase by the original owner is required. Claims made outside Australia may be subject to additional fees and restrictions, imposed by outside countries. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights in your country of purchase.​

Any components or accessories supplied with a HTech bike frame are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranty. HTech Bikes will not be held accountable for any non-HTech branded components attached to a HTech bike frame.​

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
