The HTech Puissant range represents a significant advancement in road bike technology and is the latest innovation in our quest to create the perfect bicycle frame. With its smooth, comfortable, and stable ride, the Puissant range must be experienced to be fully appreciated. The name "Puissant" means "having great power or influence" and is also defined as "strong, powerful, and mighty", truly representative of a bike frame that will change the way wood is viewed as bicycle frame material.
Designed from the ground up, with no similarities with our solid hardwood frames, with the only shared component being the rear derailleur hanger. Our focus on reducing weight resulted in a frame that is lighter and stiffer while also being more compliant* after nearly three years of intensive research, development, and testing.
The Puissant range is available in two models with either aluminium (AL) or carbon fiber (CF) lugs, as well as a lightweight limited edition (W).
Pricing starts with the Puissant AL equipped with SRAM Rival AXS.
*Due to the reduction in weight, the HTech Puissant W exhibits a distinctive ride compared to the standard Puissant range. It does lack the smooth ride and lateral stiffness of the Puissant CF, it's therefore not recommended for heavier riders.

Every HTech bike frame is built to order. We do not currently stock frames, though we are working to stock Puissant frames in the future.
Once ordered frame will then be added to our build queue, you will be notified of the current build queue wait time. The HTech Puissant frame construction will take 2-4 weeks depending on suppliers, raw materials and other builds in progress.
When your new HTech wooden bike frame is ready, your frame will be shipped within the next few days.
